"Performing gives me this feeling of euphoria that is inexplicable. Every time I go on stage, there is a sense of freedom where I can unleash an inner power - kind of like a wave"
Growing up experiencing racial segregation and social injustice, I also experienced the power of media and the arts to raise or numb a person's consciousness. This led to my joining the industry as an activist. I am blessed to have had opportunities to work as Director/Actor/Writer across theatre, radio, television and film - using genres of documentary, narrative film, music and serving as Content Director/Live anchor of a live multi-faith talk-show on public television for 5years. I am delighted to join the accomplished cast of SoTN to share this deep call to action for a nation and a world divided by prejudice and fear. As Einstein said, "The world will not be destroyed by Evil, but by those who stand by and do nothing to stop it".
